Sometimes wood is used for decorations for more than just “vintage reasons”. Tamara & Tobias celebrated a wedding exactly as they wanted. Among other things, we were able to provide a surprise garter that we had never made before.
The two
Tamara (21) and Tobias (29) come from near Stuttgart and got married on August 4, 2018. We met Tamara on Instagram and have been following their plans with interest. From their big day to their amazing after-wedding shoot in Iceland (!), we've seen some of their ups and downs. The Wedding – Real Wedding
"We had a civil wedding and celebrated it on a grand scale with our family and friends. Our location was an old sawmill connected to a mill. The location is totally idyllic by a stream. There was no particular theme, but we decorated a lot with wood, as Tobias is a carpenter."
A really nice idea, we think. We also think it's a brilliant idea to reflect wood in the decoration - not just for visual reasons, but because it has a direct connection to the two of them.
What we were allowed to make for Tamara and Tobias
Handkerchiefs for tears of joy for the parents and witnesses were a must. We were also able to make a special garter , which was a surprise for the groom, and personalized panties including a panty veil for the two of them. The pieces were then used during the wedding and in a wonderful boudoir shoot.
Since Tobias is a self-employed carpenter with a whole heart and absolute passion, Tamara wanted to surprise him with a special garter. When surprises work...

MEGA idea
We think: great idea! Garters with a personal connection as a surprise, such as clubs, favorite cars, tractors (yep, we've done it all!) etc. are always incredibly well received. And in between the decoration perfectionism, such an out-of-style surprise (regardless of whether it has to be black and yellow or green and white) is a super sweet gesture for your future husband or wife and is sure to give you a great moment and one or two cool photos in action when he/she discovers it. You'll most likely find such garters in our "Satin Classic" and "Lace Classic" models.
